Our Journey

2016 -17

Foundation and Launch of Investment Operations

Green Lantern Capital LLP was incorporated on December 2016 by Mr. Nilesh Doshi and Mr. Abhishek Bhardwaj with the vision of building a process-led investment institution focused on disciplined research, strong governance, and long-term value creation. Following the grant of its SEBI Portfolio Management Services License, the firm formally commenced operations with the launch of the Growth Fund in December 2017, marking the beginning of GLC’s investment journey and establishing its core investment strategy.

2020

Strengthening the Partnership & Launch of Alpha Fund

Mr. Nitin Pandey joined the partnership, adding strategic depth to the leadership team. GLC simultaneously launched the Alpha Fund, expanding its investment strategy and broadening its offerings for investors.

Leadership Expansion

Mr. Pradeep Gokhale joined the partnership as Fund Manager, bringing years of extensive experience in fund management and equity research. His addition further strengthened the firm’s investment leadership and reinforced GLC’s institutional foundation as it continued to grow its client base.

GLC crossed ₹500 crore in assets under management — a reflection of growing investor confidence and a structured expansion of the team to match its increasing scale.

Within a year, the firm’s assets under management doubled to cross INR 1,000 crore. This milestone reflects strong investment performance, increasing investor trust, and long-term partnerships with over 450 families, made possible by the collective effort and dedication of our team.

Nilesh Doshi

CEO & Managing Partner

Nilesh leads the overall direction of Green Lantern Capital LLP, overseeing the firm’s long-term strategic vision and guiding the investment team on strategy, investment decisions, and portfolio construction. With more than three decades of experience across industry and capital markets, he brings a deep understanding of businesses, macroeconomic trends, and sectoral shifts that drive long-term investment opportunities. A graduate in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay, he began his career with leading industrial organizations such as Pidilite before transitioning into financial markets to pursue his passion for investing. He later held senior roles in equity research and institutional sales, building strong expertise in company analysis, sector research, and investment strategy.

At Green Lantern Capital, he focuses on identifying sectors at inflection points, high-quality businesses, and structural growth opportunities by combining macro insights with bottom-up analysis. In his leadership role, he also oversees the firm’s strategic direction, investment philosophy, and institutional development.

Known for his intellectual curiosity, he is an avid reader with interests spanning economics, global markets, technology, public policy, and principles of Jainism. In his free time, he enjoys playing table tennis, often reminiscing about his days at his alma mater.

Abhishek Bhardwaj

Managing Partner, Principal Officer & Fund Manager

Abhishek is responsible for portfolio management, investment strategy, and regulatory oversight at Green Lantern Capital LLP. With over 19 years of experience in equity markets, he brings deep expertise in financial analysis, company research, and sector evaluation, playing a key role in identifying high-quality investment opportunities and driving disciplined portfolio construction. A Chartered Accountant, he is known for his rigorous approach to analyzing financial statements and business fundamentals. Prior to co-founding the firm, he held investment and research roles at leading institutions such as Reliance Mutual Fund and global investment firms, gaining exposure across domestic and international markets.

Before starting Green Lantern Capital, he served as Equity Fund Manager at Star Union Dai-Ichi Life Insurance, where the funds under his management consistently outperformed benchmarks. His experience with global institutional investors has shaped his perspective on investment discipline and best practices.

Outside his professional responsibilities, he enjoys life’s simple adventures, often exploring breathtaking and offbeat places. A defence aficionado, he has a keen interest in strategy and technology. A dog lover and proud pet parent, he admires the innocence and ever-happy spirit that dogs bring to life.

Pradeep Gokhale

Partner & Fund Manager

Pradeep plays a key role in portfolio management and investment strategy at Green Lantern Capital LLP, contributing to company evaluation, sector research, idea generation, and portfolio structuring. With over 23 years of experience across fund management, equity research, and credit analysis, he brings deep analytical expertise and an institutional perspective to the investment process. A Chartered Accountant and a CFA charter-holder, he previously served as Head of Equity at ITI Asset Management Ltd. and spent over 15 years at Tata Asset Management Ltd., where he managed multiple equity strategies and led research across sectors.

Earlier in his career, he worked with CARE Ratings Ltd., handling credit ratings and advisory assignments across diverse industries, along with experience in companies such as Tata International and Lubrizol India. His varied background provides him with a well-rounded understanding of businesses and financial analysis.

Beyond his keen interest in markets and economics, Pradeep is a passionate reader with a particular interest in history and literature. He is a cricket enthusiast, a traveller at heart, and someone who enjoys listening to a wide range of music.

Nitin Pandey

Partner & Head – Business Development

Nitin brings extensive experience across portfolio management, macroeconomics, sectoral and business analysis, and behavioural finance. He has worked with reputed institutions such as Reliance Capital Asset Management Company and Edelweiss Financial, where he developed a strong understanding of markets and investor behaviour. In his previous role as Investment Manager at Miras Investments, a USD 2 billion global family office based in Oman, he gained valuable exposure to international markets and global investment practices, further strengthening his strategic perspective.

At Green Lantern Capital, Nitin spearheads Business Development and helps clients navigate markets with a long-term perspective. He combines sharp market insights with a strong client-centric approach, ensuring that investment strategies are aligned with long-term value creation and sustainable growth.

Outside work, Nitin maintains a balanced lifestyle centred on nature and wellness. He enjoys outdoor activities like trekking and being in natural surroundings, alongside practicing meditation for mental clarity and focus.

Pooja Doshi

Head of Operations & Compliance Officer

Pooja plays a pivotal role in managing Green Lantern Capital’s internal processes, ensuring the smooth functioning of back-office activities while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards. She oversees key functions including transaction execution, investor onboarding, regulatory filings, and fund reporting, working closely with custodians, intermediaries, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Known for her attention to detail and structured approach, she also focuses on strengthening systems and workflows to support the firm’s investment operations.

She has completed the Advanced Management Program in Business Analytics from the Indian School of Business, graduating on the Dean’s List. Through the program, she developed a strong interest in data analytics, automation of processes, and operational improvement. These areas now form an important part of her evolving professional focus, where she increasingly applies analytical insights to improve efficiency and enhance scalability.

Outside of work, Pooja can often be found in the Indian jungles chasing the big cats and honing her skills in wildlife photography. She also enjoys painting nature-inspired subjects, reads widely, listens to podcasts on business, and is a passionate tennis fan; still holding out hope that Roger Federer might stage one last comeback.

Laxmi Sankarasubramanian

Operations Manager

Laxmi oversees day-to-day processes and backend functions at Green Lantern Capital, ensuring the smooth functioning of portfolio management services. She plays a key role in fund accounting operations and managing client onboarding and streamlining internal workflows, while supervising a team of operations and onboarding executives to ensure efficient execution across processes. 

With prior audit experience in PMS operations, Laxmi brings a keen eye for detail and strong process discipline, helping maintain accuracy and compliance across operational activities. Known for her proactive approach and problem-solving mindset, she contributes to improving efficiency and ensuring seamless coordination across teams and workflows. 

Nidhi Samdani

Compliance Specialist

Nidhi Samdani is a certified Company Secretary and Compliance Specialist at Green Lantern Capital LLP, responsible for overseeing end-to-end regulatory compliance and ensuring adherence to applicable SEBI regulations and PMS guidelines. She plays a key role in strengthening governance frameworks, monitoring regulatory requirements, and ensuring alignment with evolving compliance standards. She is also involved in reviewing and managing client documentation, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence. 

In addition, she coordinates with distributors and clients, addresses queries, and facilitates seamless communication across stakeholders. Nidhi takes a keen interest in operational and onboarding processes, contributing to efficient internal workflows and strong governance practices. Outside of work, she embraces motherhood while pursuing her passions for baking and painting. 

Sumit Vishwakarma

Process Development Specialist

Sumit designs and optimizes internal workflows to enhance efficiency, transparency, and cross-functional coordination. His role focuses on identifying process gaps, implementing structured improvements, leveraging data-driven insights, and supporting technology integrations. He is also actively involved in areas such as business process automation, IT systems, and cybersecurity, contributing to strengthening the firm’s operational resilience and governance standards. 

Driven by a strong interest in problem-solving and systems thinking, he approaches operational challenges with a structured and analytical mindset. Outside of work, he has represented at the district level in cricket, carrom, and table tennis, and is passionate about exploring emerging technologies and innovations shaping the future market landscape. 

Tarun Khanchandani

Research Analyst

Tarun holds a bachelor’s degree in Capital Markets from the BSE Institute, providing a strong technical foundation in market dynamics. He conducts in-depth business analysis through detailed evaluation of annual reports and management conference calls to understand company fundamentals and industry positioning. By translating qualitative management insights into actionable investment perspectives, he helps identify businesses with durable competitive advantages and long-term potential. He also oversees the firm’s trading execution, ensuring disciplined and efficient implementation of research-backed investment strategies. 

Alankrita Agarwal

Research Analyst & Client Servicing

Alankrita supports the equity research function at Green Lantern Capital LLP, contributing to fundamental analysis, company tracking, and investment research. She also manages client servicing and investor communication, ensuring timely updates and seamless engagement with the firm’s investor base. 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from NMIMS and has cleared CFA Level II, reflecting her strong academic grounding in financial analysis and investment management. Her role combines analytical support with relationship management, helping strengthen both the firm’s investment insights and overall client experience. 

Vidya Dharne

Accounts Executive

Vidya supports the firm’s day-to-day financial processes and account management, including maintaining organized financial records, assisting with billing coordination, and facilitating smooth communication across internal teams. She is known for her detail-oriented approach and commitment to ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and well-structured financial processes within the organization. 

Aakansha Kothari

Accounts Executive

Aakansha focuses on maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations for PMS accounts. Her responsibilities include reviewing financial records and transactions, preparing financial statements, supporting audit reviews, handling invoices and payments, and reconciling accounts to ensure adherence to accounting standards and the Income Tax Act, 1961. 

A semi-qualified Chartered Accountant, Aakansha balances her professional responsibilities while continuing her studies alongside work and motherhood. She is keenly interested in financial management, staying updated on evolving accounting practices and global economic trends, and is committed to continuous professional growth. 

Aakash Tiwari

Operations Executive

Aakash oversees client onboarding at Green Lantern Capital, ensuring adherence to operational and regulatory standards while coordinating with clients, distributors, and internal teams for smooth execution. He brings strong expertise in onboarding processes and has a thorough understanding of KYC requirements and documentation standards across diverse client categories. 

He holds a postgraduate degree (MMS) in Finance and has a keen interest in equity research and portfolio management services operations. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and playing cricket. 

Sayali Jalvi

Operations Executive

Sayali supports Portfolio Management processes at Green Lantern Capital, ensuring smooth day-to-day workflows across key operational activities. Her role includes transaction processing, verification of critical operational data, and coordination with internal teams and custodians to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance. She also contributes to improving process efficiency and maintaining high standards across investment-related processes. 

Outside of work, Sayali enjoys following motorsports, dancing, and creating crafts; interests that reflect her appreciation for both precision and creativity. 

Deepak Sharma

Operations Executive

Deepak supports client onboarding and documentation processes, handling both digital and physical onboarding across a wide range of client categories including resident, non-resident, and non-individual investors. He assists in maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring adherence to KYC and regulatory requirements for a smooth onboarding experience.   

A Commerce graduate with a strong interest in investments and financial markets, he approaches his work with diligence and attention to detail. In his free time, he enjoys playing cricket and is passionate about the sport. 

 

Snehanka Vanjare

Admin Executive

At Green Lantern Capital, Snehanka manages key administrative functions, including office management, vendor coordination, documentation, and day-to-day operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the workplace. She also supports HR initiatives such as recruitment coordination, employee engagement activities, and policy implementation, contributing to a well-organized and collaborative work environment. Through her role, she helps maintain efficient organizational processes while fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture. She has a strong interest in people management, organizational efficiency, and continuous professional development.
